Our Mission Statement

We, as the leadership and support system of the mountain bicyclists in Illinois, are committed to the "people helping people and the environment" concept of mountain bicycling advocacy. Our purpose is to provide mountain bicyclists with a favorable recreational experience while conserving the natural resources of this State on which trails, including, but not limited to, natural surface mountain bicycling trails, are built. This goal will be accomplished by coordinating local and statewide efforts to collect, analyze, and disseminate information of benefit to trail users, government policy makers, and the citizens of Illinois.
